Special thanks to Vicki S. for letting me sleep on her futon and exploring with me in Chicago; thanks also to Trent, who I was lucky enough to find in the Madison Public Library, to Christopher at The Project Lodge, and to Melissa at UW-Madison.
Didn't grandmom and poppy use to have a giant (or so it seemed to me as child) grandfather clock?
In any case, enjoy the roadtrip and the casual encounters. As long as that piece of crap volvo holds up it should be a fun trip.
and hey, if you want any internationally mailed cards, let me know and I can see what i could do down here in colombia (postage might be a slight issue...)
Matt, I'm hooked already! This is an incredible project- I'll be following your travels online and have already spread word of this to tons of people. Good luck and enjoy! Tooch
Matt, wonderfully inspired idea. I got kind of teary at the end of this video post, my grandmother had Alzheimer's. This can certainly turn into a great book when all is said and done. Good luck on your travels!
