Days 3-4 Photojournal - Cincy/Chicago

Sometimes your best laid plans go awry, and then a few more things go wrong, and you find yourself destitute in Chinatown after midnight, searching for somewhere to sleep.  In such circumstances, you can't be too picky about accomodation.

We set out two days before from our friend's idyllic place outside Cincinnati.

With no workshops that day, we got back to basics: hit the streets and start walking.

We walked 3 miles from our car before we found this cool district called North Side.

It was a gritty area with lots of funky, eclectic shops.

After the long trek, Drew made another Parking Garage PB & J.

It was a beautiful Friday morning in Chi-town.

We ran our third workshop in partnership with the Chicago chapter of the Alzheimer's Association and the Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer's Disease Center at Northwestern University.  What a great group we had!

That night, our plans fell through at the very last minute, so we found ourselves scrambling (in Chinatown...somehow?).  But it'd been such a good day it didn't really matter.

Special thanks to Melanie, Darby, Mary and all our participants - hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
